In The Magic Soap Bubble part 6 Ned, the giant, the princess, and her brother are all tucked in at the castle while they wait for the stepfather, the King, to return. When the King is almost there Ned sends the bluebird off with the golden ring to get help. When the bluebird lands near the King he senses her and she ends up dropping the ring into the moat. Tonight's short story is our version of an old classic. The children of Georgetown are excited when Mr. Crumble, a kind baker, opens a shop in their town. Tommy, who decides to eat a large loaf alone, finds his bread sour, while children who share their smaller loaves find them surprisingly delightful. Through Mr. Crumble's gentle wisdom, the children learn valuable lessons about the joy of sharing and the true spirit of community.
