The Church, in her wisdom and compassion, understands that many people who end their lives are not fully responsible due to their overwhelming anguish.

When Ava revealed she was personally struggling, Patrick immediately provided her with the 988 hotline, a lifeline for those in crisis, reminding her of the importance of reaching out to trained professionals who are ready to help 24/7.
