In 1978, Steven Kubacki wandered onto the ice of Lake Michigan for some two hundred yards, vanished for 14 months, and then showed up with puzzling clues, total amnesia, and a distinct lack of curioisity about what happened to him. It could be along the same lines as Danny Filippidis, who disappeared from Upstate New York 40 years later.
