USC Triple-Double: Bronny James cleared, Wendale Farrow joins the show; previewing men's matchup vs Gonzaga

On the third episode of the USC Triple-Double Podcast -- the first basketball-only podcast to be a part of the Peristyle Podcast family of shows -- Shotgun Spratling and Connor Morrissette (aka Mr. Triple Double) break down the most recent action from the USC men's and women's basketball teams. 

The undefeated Women of Troy are ranked No. 6 this week, while the men fell out of the top 25 after suffering a heartbreaking loss to Oklahoma in the final seconds of the Rady Children's Invitational championship game in San Diego.

But first, a special guest joins the show as USC women’s assistant coach Wendale Farrow comes on to discuss the addition of No. 1 overall player JuJu Watkins and how her recruitment played out. Farrow also talks about his connection with Lindsay Gottlieb -- a coach he sought out working with -- and his assessment of the 6-0 Women of Troy.

Shotgun and Connor then break down the latest USC games before looking at where the Trojan squads stand both record and stat wise through three weeks games. They also discuss the upcoming week of action for the USC teams with the women playing San Diego while the men have a marquee non-conference matchup against No. 11 Gonzaga in Las Vegas.
