Joe is out and about again but this time he is off on an urban adventure ! David tries to guess where Joe is as he comes out of the train station. Apparently they have been speaking about visiting this place for a year and a half but David still doesn't twig. That is until Joe introduces him to a Chatabix regular and then the penny drops. Joe takes David behind the scenes and explains there is a special reason why he has decided to pod from the location today of all days. Joe introduces David to some people who are milling about via zoom and they settle in for a chat about the thing Joe has gone to see and how it all came about. Joe also delivers a long overdue Christmas present.

Comedians Joe Wilkinson & David Earl chat utter drivel to each other 3 days a week. They natter to celebrities and deep dive into guests with interesting lives (as theirs is so boring). Occasionally they plan a surprise for each other to pep it up a bit. David loves hearing about behind the scenes stuff from TV shows and writing jingles. Joe likes adventuring and is obsessed with the podcast charts. Sometimes they'll embark on a day out podding together just so they can get out of the house. It's a brilliantly chaotic podcast which occasionally covers regular topics like TV Reviews, Snooker, Canal boating and Music.

David and Joe text their old friend and Chatabiscuit Jamie Demetriou to find out what it’s like working with big Hollywood stars. While they wait for his reply, they do a de-brief on Joe’s recent Instagram Live experience. And very quickly descend into a good half hour or so of self-loathing and embarrassment about showing off. After a quick chat about T-shirts, body confidence and weight loss frustrations, David and Joe come up with an idea for a geriatric version of the pod - Chatatxix +30. They want to find two willing (but not too showy) 80 year olds to be the hosts, so put a call-out to the Patrons for some help. Expectation warning: it’s yet another new pod idea that will probably never see the light of day. After all that, they then attempt to do an Instagram Live, live on the podcast - and even manage to get Rob Beckett to join them. Somewhat predictably, it’s bloody chaos!

With a flat tyre and the school run to do, it’s a hectic morning for David. But once that’s all sorted, he finally joins Joe to record the pod and give Petra her leaving present.
