Ann Crady Weiss is helping millions of families get better sleep with her company Hatch. Hatch launched in 2016 as a baby-product company, and today, one in three households with a baby has a Hatch Rest, which acts as a soothing sound machine and night light. The brand has since expanded to focus on helping people of all ages prioritize their sleep. Its Hatch Restore, a sleep device made with adults in mind, was even mentioned on Time’s 100 Best Inventions of 2020. But Hatch wasn’t Ann’s first entrepreneurial endeavor. In fact, she gained knowledge in the baby space with her first company, Maya’s Mom, an early social networking site for parents. Before that, Ann led as the director of new initiatives at Yahoo Autos and practiced as a corporate securities attorney.

Mara Roszak has had quite a multifaceted career within the hairstyling industry. After enrolling in beauty school at just 16 years old, Roszak landed an assistant role at Chris McMillan's iconic salon, where she quickly earned her own chair. While there, she also began working on red carpet events and press tours with her first celebrity client, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and today, her client roster has grown to include Emma Stone, Michelle Yeoh, and Zoe Saldaña. Aside from her hairstyling career, she's embarked on entrepreneurial pursuits. Last year, she predicted that Doja Cat would dress as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat, Choupette, and over 70 million of her viewers watched as her prediction came true. In 2017, the outdoor space surrounding Allison Messner’s home in Northern California was destroyed by a devastating wildfire. In the aftermath, Allison and her husband decided to hire a landscape designer to help them rebuild their green space, but they quickly realized how difficult, long, and expensive the process was going to be. The two began developing an idea to make the process more efficient and accessible by incorporating new technology, and in 2018, they launched Yardzen, a digital landscape design and build platform. Today, the company operates in all 50 states with a network of hundreds of designers and architects. But before Allison disrupted the landscape industry, she reported as a journalist in Alaska, worked at a prestigious PR firm, was CMO of the tech company OpenDNS when it was acquired by Cisco for $635 million, and even started her own venture capital firm.
