NBA Western Conference Finals Game 5 Preview

Amin's pumped for the NBA Finals, but the Timberwolves threw a wrench in things by beating the Mavericks and avoiding a sweep. They played so well that even Draymond Green had to give them props on "Inside The NBA," despite his usual beef with Rudy Gobert. Bronny got invited to 10 team workouts, but he only said yes to the Lakers and the Suns. In the rumor mill, Jimmy Butler might ditch the Heat for his old squad, the Philadelphia 76ers. In our weekly segment, Bet The Show, Charlotte and Amin discuss some wagers for Caitlin Clark and Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Ant and Kat Show: Wolves Stop the Sweep!

The Celtics are going to the NBA Finals, Jaylen Brown won the ECF MVP, and Charlotte is ecstatic. Amin questions her confidence since they had a hard time against the Indiana Pacers without Tyrese Haliburton and now will have a tougher battle against either the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Dallas Mavericks. The Celtics have been doing great, and it begs the question: is young coach Joe Mazzulla a prodigy, or did he luck into a great situation? Charlotte and Amin close out the show remembering the great Bill Walton after he passed away yesterday.

Celtics Secure Spot in Finals & Remembering Bill Walton

Amin kicks off the show with a quick victory lap after he correctly predicted the Boston Celtics would blow out the Indiana Pacers in game two of the Eastern Conference Finals. He then laments how yet another injury, this time to Tyrese Haliburton, has made the Celtics' path to the NBA Finals that much easier. Charlotte also doesn't buy that Jaylen Brown being snubbed for a selection on any All-NBA team was a catalyst for his 40-point performance. Charlotte and Amin also call out Rick Carlisle for comments he made after the game.
