This podcast discusses the difference between Relative Humidity and Dew Point. This is an audio version of our live stream presentation on LinkedIn and our YouTube channel (Insight Partners HVAC TV).

Here is a quick summary of the content.

Relative Humidity: Not a good measure of water in the air (absolute humidity). RH is the percentage of how much moisture is in the air vs. how much it can hold. It answers the question “how full is the container”?

Dew Point: The atmospheric temperature below which water droplets begin to condense and dew can form. This is an accurate measurement of water in the air (humidity). We also look at Dry Bulb, Wetbulb (Illustrating with a Sling Psychrometer), Humidity in Grains/LB of dry air.

We thank you for listening!
