Our guest Miranda Morris shares her personal journey of coming to ACT and implementing contextual behavioural science in her career as a psychologist in private practice. We discuss difficulties with applying CBT to ourselves, still needing to learn and use the DSM despite the fact that as contextualists who focus on functional assessment we have a lot of conceptual and practical issues with the disease model and we also delve into Miranda's interests in exploring the application of psychedelics to mental health.

During the podcast Miranda mentions "How to Change Your Mind" a book by Michael Pollan.
