Robby Maschhaupt aka Mr. #PassTheHandle aka @wakesurfing_gasman on Instagram and 2017 Wakeboarding Mag Wake Award Winner is Dano’s guest on Episode 95 of the podcast. The former pro race car pit crew gasman turned  philanthropic wake sports enthusiast, who in 2017 organized and operated 35 #passthehandle events -- never charging a soul. Now, a role model and mentor to folks around the nation, Robby is helping bring towed watersports and wake surfing, in specific, to more people in one summer.  He already has 75-plus events on this year's calendar. The two discuss how Robby got into the sport of wake, his days in the big leagues, running around with wake and NASCAR royalty and his current commitment to the industry.

Robert Absher is a historian with the Wake Sports Hall of Fame. Robert has hundreds of boards on display in his home museum, a temporary home for the collection until a proper brick and mortar location is built. He welcomed Dano to his museum in March 2021 for a full tour and to talk about the history of the sport.
