And what a trip it has been! What we have done for the 100th episode celebration was taking a look at the past episodes over the years. We take a trip back down memory lane to revisit... Courtney from the I.V. League, who at the time of her recording was a nursing student headed for graduation! I am sure that Courtney has now since graduated and we hope that she has been tuning into the Your Next Shift podcast as a nurse, for career advice, inspiration, and tips. Barbara Dossey, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, HWNC-BC a holistic nursing pioneer, has published, presented, and done so much great work for the nursing profession. The two amazing nurses from The BirchTree Center for Healthcare, Marie Shanahan MA, BSN, RN, HN-BC and Veda Andrus EdD, MSN, RN, HN-BC VP make a dual appearance on episode 048. Now, I do not know who was in more shock at the response. Me, Marie, or Veda! You'll have to tune in to find out. Two Fantastic Nurses In episode 029, Barbara C Phillips, NP, FAAN (a nurse business owner and fellow podcaster herself) talks about the twists and turns that got her to her final landing stages of her career... in nursing! In episode 050, Michelle Longabaugh, RN, Sr. FCS had me on the edge of my seat! Why? It was like she was IN MY HEAD with her responses. Are we long lost twins separated at birth!?! A Patient Focused Clinical Spin We wrapped things up, checking in on Nurse Nacole Riccaboni. What I loved about this interview was the patient-focused, clinical take on nursing practice.
