Father Richard Sunwoo currently serves as Pastor at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Church in Covina, California. A graduate of St. John’s Seminary with a Master of Arts in Religion and Religious Studies, Fr. SunWoo brings both theological depth and pastoral warmth to his ministry.
Before his current assignment, he served for six years as Pastor at Our Savior Parish and the USC Caruso Catholic Center, where he guided students and young professionals in faith formation, community building, and service. His pastoral approach is marked by strong preaching, spiritual direction, and compassionate leadership, qualities that have earned him recognition across communities such as St. Monica Catholic Community.
