2022 James earned his first World Champion title, and we worked hard for it.
James Carew joined the GKA tour only some years ago and as a pure ignorant surfer. Surfing only. But to be able to win an overall World Championship title, he had to learn strapless freestyle from scratch. Only about 3 years later, he’s one of the most progressive riders still in waves, but also now in the strapless freestyle/big air discipline, smashing loops and double loops like there’s no tomorrow.
