There are four things we need to note of Tabitha, or Dorcas, whether we are male or female.

1) She was “a disciple”, which means that she was a follower of the Lord Jesus.

2) That she was truly worthy of that name was evidenced by the testimony given of her.

3) She was characterized by Quote– “labor of love” –Unquote.

4) Her works, were works of faith, the proof that she had faith.
