Nigel Toplis is Managing Director of The Bardon Group stable of franchises which includes Kall Kwik, Recognition Express and Techclean. The Group specialises in developing and growing franchised businesses in the UK.
Nigel started his franchise career with Kall Kwik, and has since acquired the master licence for Kall Kwik (from the US) and expanded The Bardon Group portfolio. In addition to running The Bardon Group, Nigel has written several business books including three on franchising, is a past Chairman of the BFA and is a Fellow of Lancaster University.
Nigel speaks with Marcus in this episode about his career in print and franchising and offers advice on how to run and grow a business during uncertain times, explaining the importance of what he calls the "communication chain."
