This morning we discuss upcoming Canadian legislation that will expand the criteria for MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying - euthanasia) to include people suffering from mental illness. We trace the clear and unanimous Torah objection to MAID in all circumstances, and protest this latest revolutionary, deadly trend in our society, while expressing sympathy and understanding for those who are suffering so terribly they would consider this step.
