This morning we discuss the curious practice of blowing the Shofar during this month of Ellul, the Jewish month that precedes, and helps us prepare for, the High Holidays. Using a poignant story from the Dubno Magid, we explore the work we should be doing these days, and how the sound of the Shofar reminds us of our current task.
