This week Alice was out and about and found herself in Opera Legend Lesley Garrett's music room - as you do!

There they chatted about Lesley's career from her training at the Royal Academy, to dipping her toe in the world of musical theater with her role in the Sound of Music.

Now she is encouraging new writers to create more roles for older singers and leaving a legacy for generations to come.

As well as all that she tells Alice all about Chiswick proms which is happening next weekend.
