The New Mom Boss Podcast

127. How to Handle Mom Life When You’re Exhausted With Julie and Kallista

Listen Later

Welcome back to the New Mom Boss Podcast! This is another co-hosted episode with my good friend Julie from The Beanbag Cafe Podcast with Julie Fernandes! In this episode, we discuss our approach to handling mom life when the current season is exhausting.

We are both at a point where we have a lot on our plates, making life quite overwhelming. Our conversation is about how the exhaustion in motherhood can be all-consuming, leaving little energy to be the moms we want to be. We talk about pursuing harmony instead of balance, and how giving yourself permission to enjoy what you love can make all the difference in the daily grind.

 Some big takeaways are:

  1. Pursue harmony, not balance.
  2. You can’t do everything all at once perfectly, and that’s okay.
  3. Going with the flow is a mindset that’s needed in the postpartum period.
