To help flesh out this topic is my guest Julia Barbaro, a certified life and marriage coach, an author, wife, and a homeschooling mom of six kids. 

 

Julia's passion is to empower couples to strengthen their mind and their communication, overcome obstacles, and seek clarity. Together, she helps them create a life plan for themselves as well as encourages parents to guide their children to adulthood.

 

In our conversation, we talk about how motherhood impacted her marriage, and some key tips she’s learned for prioritizing her spouse as a new mom. We also touch on how to grow a relationship with our kids and open the door for impactful conversations and gestures.

 Some big takeaways are:

1. Disagreements are inevitable, so communication is key.
2. We have to look at our partners differently. 
3. Motherhood is sacrificial.
