They might be great at delivering babies, but that doesn’t mean they’re an expert on the human body and all of its intricacies.
Joining me to talk about this further is Tanya Tringali, the owner and founder of Mother Wit Maternity. She is a Certified Nurse-Midwife on a mission to provide wellness services that promote optimal pregnancy outcomes, safe and satisfying birth experiences, and ease the transition into parenthood.
In this episode, we discuss the differences in postpartum care between the current healthcare system and midwifery, what the current system provides, and the things that should be advocated for elsewhere.
