I‘m 44 , have Audhd and am a very pro-active person. It‘s just that Procrastination takes hold of me. Any ideas on how I can limit this?“.
Theresa N. Bath, England
There’s a lot of talk about Procrastination these days.
To procrastinate is to „ put doing off something“.
I‘ve noticed that people are mostly not Pro-Active.
I put people into two categories:
Non- Active. Therefore they experience Procrastination
Pro-Active snd experiencing Purposeful Delay
When you reframe Procrastination as „Purposeful Delay“, your nervous system rebalances itself and your next life step becomes apparent.
„Purposeful Delay“ can be difficult to understand with „Jumbled Executive Functioning“ and fear and doubt can keep you in this delay.
That’s when you put the „Eisenhower Technique „ into gear .. it’s a very powerful technique.
OR you can slowly get you head around „Every delay is not a denial“ from Michael Bernhard Beckwith.
At the end of the day, or better still, at the start of the day, reframe „Procrastination „, as just an empty word…
Believe me… your life WILL get better!
I hope you enjoy the episode
