How do we ask about the past relationship or the current status? Do we just go ahead and ask them, are you married? Do you have a girlfriend? What is a better way for that? Well, hopefully if you're out on a date with somebody, they're not married and have a girlfriend. But you never know these days. So I would say sometimes it's a little forward asking them directly about their ex, especially if you're just getting to know them. A lot of people just kind of, if they're out dating again, they kind of want to move past that. So a better way to ask about that is to ask about their family. So ask about if it's an older person or someone who likely has maybe been in relationships before, someone in their late 20s, 30s, 40s, you can maybe ask if they have any kids. And that will kind of lead you into that discussion where they may just volunteer information of their previous relationship if you really want to know. If it's a younger person, maybe you just ask about their family. Ask about if they have any brothers or sisters for their friends, or things like that. That may come up at that point then as well. And of course, if they make indications about, hey, I got to get home from this date, my wife's waiting for me, then maybe you just should think hard if you want to go out with them again. But there are people who probably can accept this kind of situation. There absolutely are, but I guess that's up to you to decide. Right.

（跟美国人约会的时候）我们如何询问过去的感情关系或当前感情状态？我们可以直接问他们，你结婚了吗？你有女朋友吗？有没有更好的方法呢？好吧，希望如果你和某人正在约会，他们既没有结婚也没有女朋友。但是在现在这个时候你或许永远不会知道。所以我想说有时候直接问他们关于他们前任的事是有点直接，尤其是当你刚刚认识他们的时候。很多人可能才开始重新约会，所以他们只想将过去的感情一言带去。因此，更好的询问方式是询问他们的家人。所以询问年长的人或之前可能有过恋爱关系的人，像20 多岁、30 多岁、40 多岁的人，你也许可以问他们是否有孩子。如果你真的想知道更多，这也会引导你进入这个话题的讨论，他们可能自愿提供他们以前感情关系的信息。如果是年轻人，也许你只是问问他们的家庭情况。询问他们是否有任何兄弟姐妹或他们的或他们的朋友，或诸如此类的事情。那么过去的情感关系话题也可能在那个时候出现。当然，如果他们表示，我必须回家，我老婆在等我，那么如果你想再次和他们出去约会，也许你应该好好想想。但也有人大概能接受这种情况。绝对有，但我想这取决于你的决定。
