It's not explicitly discussed in the Bible...
But Jesus does say something about not storing up treasures for ourselves on earth.
I save a little bit every month for my retirement. I think most people do (or at least want to).
But I can't help to think of Matthew 6:19-20, when Jesus says, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth...But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven."
