Keeping Your Eyes on the Rock

Life is filled with daily struggles that can easily take away our focus and knock us of the path we wanted to follow. Satan desires to turn our attention to our problems and distractions, rather than to keep our eyes on the Rock. (1 Pet. 5:8; 1 Cor.10:1-4) Our Rock is solid and true. (Heb.13:5-6) Understanding God as our Rock is the real path to a life that is far greater than the diversions of this world.

1.) Focused on God as our Rock

A. Understanding the Rock that is God (Ps. 18:2; Duet. 8: 15; Ex. 33:22; Duet. 32:4; 1 Sam. 2:2)

B. The Rock provides (Matt.6:11; Ga/.6:16; 2 Sam.23:3; Ps.40:2)

C. The Rock is strong and stable (Ps.62:2, 7; 94:22)

D. That Rock is Christ (Eph.2:20; Rom. 9:33; 1 Pet.2:8; 1 Cor.10:4)

2.) Focused on the One Who Cares for Us
