In Episode 2, we talk to the residents about the beating heart of Maryport; the businesses and trade that have thrived in the last 100 years and what keeps Maryport ticking today. Over the course of the project we have met with folk aged from 9 to 92 to hear what they think about the place they call home. We've heard about the characters and families who live there and learned about the community and the impact the people have had on their town.
Maryport Folk is produced in partnership with Senhouse Roman Museum and supported by Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Community Grants, made possible with National Lottery Heritage Fund.
