2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Review

The 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe was a lot of fun for me to test drive for this review.  Because Tahoe is one of those vehicles that I've wanted from a very early age.

Perhaps that's because it looks great.  Also, it could be because it's rugged and ready for anything.  Plus, it's a real sport utility vehicle.  And there's not really much crossover about it at all.

That is, except for all the awesome creature comforts.  But, make no mistake, the 2020 Chevy Tahoe is big.  It's a true full-size SUV.

2020 Chevy Tahoe Full-Size SUV

So the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe represents the 6th and final model year of its 4th generation.  And here's what I really like about that.

The final model year of any vehicle generation represents the best the manufacturer could make that entire generation.  And I find opportunity there.

3-Trim Levels w/ 8-special edition options

Specifically, it's usually an opportunity to get a great deal on a very well put-together vehicle.  Because while some folks clamor for the next new thing.  Personally, I'm good with the best of right-now.

So with that commentary out of the way, here's where the Tahoe fits into Chevy's crossover SUV lineup.

Traverse - midsize/full-size

Blazer - midsize/compact

Because of Chevy's growing crossover SUV lineup, the traditional class-size lines are being blurred.  But that's happening with many automakers.

For 2020 Chevy offers Tahoe in three primary trim level configurations.  But you really have way more options than that might suggest.

Two different RST Editions available

Because you can also get a 2020 Tahoe with 8-different special editions.  And, of course, that's before engine, drivetrain, and package options.

5.3L w/ 6-speed auto trans $63,995

Plus, those 8 different special edition options provide a Tahoe configuration for literally everyone.  And that's whether you want to go serious off-roading or equally serious on-road owning. :0)
