On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: Catholic bishops in Europe are appealing for peace in Ukraine. The call came during a meeting of Church leaders in Belgium. Vice President of COMECE and the bishop of the Diocese of Essen, Bishop Franz-Josef Overbeck, joins to tell us more about this assembly. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden joined Democrats to push the administration's abortion agenda. The elections are just 3 weeks from today and the White House is trying to energize voters. Pro-life groups however, have a very different message. In Ohio, Republican and Catholic Congressman Brad Wenstrup has represented the state's 2nd district since 2012. This fall he is facing Democrat Samantha Meadows, a political newcomer, who previously worked in a pediatric clinic. And voters in Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota will decide whether recreational marijuana use should be legalized and Church leaders in several of those states are weighing in. Staff writer and podcast producer for Catholic News Agency, Jonah McKeown, joins to share what Church leaders are saying about these measures. Finally this evening, social media giant, YouTube, has added a warning to content from many Catholic and pro-life organizations. Senior Tech Columnist at The Federalist and Policy Director at the Conservative Partnership, Rachel Bovard, joins to tell us about these warnings.
