Andrew Short has been racing professional rally events for five years. And he feels like he's really getting up to speed  on race knowledge and racecraft. That should come in handy as the three-man Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team comes back to Saudi Arabia looking for redemption.

As an American specializing in motocross and supercross, Short brings a special perspective to the world of rally sport and talking with him is always a treat as he explains the way things work inside the race and team. 

During our chat we discuss the tragic 2021 race, updates to the Yamaha race machine, training in the USA with Jimmy Lewis and Ricky Brabec, and how he's looking forward into the first few days of race chaos to come.
