If you've ever heard me talk about passion before, you know how important this is to me.

The story you're about to hear is one I've never shared outside of that conference. And even as we were decided whether or not to share it, I started to tear up.

It's a deeply personal story, and it means a lot to me to be able to share it with you. Truth be told, it's not 100% my story, and I've waited years to share it so I could make sure I do so with respect and integrity.

There are a few moments in life when we get reminded how important it is to listen to our guides, to our intuition or our higher power.

And in fact, to NOT pay attention to those things, is to make sure we miss out on some of the most important, most touching and most deeply moving moments of life.
