Today I am talking to Andy Twellman, the owner and head trainer at Driven Performance Training in Austin...and my husband!  

Andy is an expert in training,  movement and pain reduction.   I am excited to share his wisdom with you! 

Main TakeAways:

  • Start developing a routine.  The most important exercise is one you will do regularly and consistently! 
  • Begin where you are!  Don't try to go out too hard (or where you were in your 20s) because it's not sustainable, and you may get hurt!
  • It's never too late to start!  You can start a fitness journey at any time! 
  • Try to incorporate resistance and weight training!  Muscle mass is so important to healthy aging. 
  • Have fun!
