In today's episode, we ask, "Why do we need revelation?" To help us answer this question, we turn to the work of St Thomas Aquinas. St Thomas teaches us that we need God's revelation for three reasons. First, it shows us the divine goal God has planned for us. Second, it teaches us how we must order our lives to reach that goal. And third, it's a corrective to our natural human knowledge. In a phrase, without divine revelation, salvation would be impossible!
