#27: The Monk’s Morning - Monk Mindset

Listen Later

When I was a monk I appreciated the schedule and structure. Our first prayers in the morning started at 5:20, and after that, we would be busy until 8 o’clock at night. I would wake up at 3:30 to have time for myself. I would wake up and run 3 miles every morning because that was the most peaceful time of my day and no one would bother me. There was also no way I was waiting until the end of my day to work out either because by the end of the day I was just too tired. The mornings were very important to me and they should be for you too. In the mornings you wake up fresh, there are no distractions, and it’s quiet. If you need to have quiet time, meditation time, or workout, the best time to do it is in the morning. https://MonkMindset.com
