The Making of Ottway

In 2019, Neri & Manu stumbled on an abandoned 50-seater bus, in the middle of the forest in the Otway Ranges, now they've turned that bus, into a luxury off-grid accommodation with its own mezzanine level.

This story isn't about renovation or living off-the-grid though, it's about Neri and Manu - the creative masterminds behind the vintage sustainable clothing brand 'Ottway The Label'.

Clothing used to be something we cared about, it held a memory of a party or place in time. Then fast-fashion came along and in the midst of destroying our planet, began to destroy out attachment to what we wear.

Ottway is tackling that, stitch by stitch, and it might just be the coolest brand in Australia, if not the world. On the verge of taking the US by storm, we speak to them and the world they have created.
