On today's episode, I talk about how we can evaluate our health currently if we have been dealing with PTSD and Past Trauma. It can be a challenge to get our health back on track in the midst of healing from the suffering of our past trauma and PTSD. We are so used to being in survival mode that we may forget what it looks like to fully take care of our selves and restore our own health. For some of us, we may only know our trauma and may feel really defeated when it comes to managing our own health that we do not even know how to start.
What I am doing to get my health back on track is evaluating my health overall in terms of my mind, body, and soul. I have asked myself these questions:
HOW HAS MY MIND BEEN CARRYING THE TRAUMA?
HOW HAVE I BEEN TREATING MY BODY AS A RESULT OF PTSD?
HOW HAS MY SOUL SUFFERED BECAUSE OF THE TRAUMA?
When we are able to evaluate ourselves and our health currently we can see what thoughts and beliefs need to be healed and worked through. In 2022, I plan to check in on myself daily with these three questions as I begin this new journey and level up so I can be my healthiest version.
