Today, I had a podcast guest named Aliz David who is a health coach and a Chronic Illness Warrior. We talked about how stress and managing it helps us improve our health. Aliz David is an IBD warrior, health coach, and mom. She is very familiar with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns disease along with other chronic illnesses. Her health journey while living with chronic illness is very inspiring. So many times we can attribute stress to our gut health. This episode is very interesting if you want to learn more about STRESS can impact our health!
As women it is not uncommon for us to feel overwhelmed and stressed out. We are all used to making sure we take care of everyone else that sometimes we forget to check in with ourselves. This can lead to stress and our health can start to suffer mentally from the self neglect. We never do this intentionally and it is okay to recognize we you are more stressed out than you know you should be. When we find ways to practice stress management in a successful way that works for us we can see our health improve over all and our habits get much better.
