Jesse Iwuji took an unorthodox path to an exciting career in NASCAR and an african-american male. Jesse, who is Surface Warfare Officer in the Naval Reserve, did not grow up in the racing scene. Yet, at 27 years old he decided it is what he was going to do.
Jesse used a positive mindset and obsessive visualization and did not let his race or naysayers get in the way of his dreams. Jesse began racing professionally in 2015 after returning from a deployment to the Arabian Gulf.
