You may know Mel from the last season of Married at First Sight, but she’s also the founder of two incredible businesses in the beauty space - Feather Sisters and Melly’s Beauty Salon. 

Mel started Feather Sisters, the lash and brow beauty brand in 2016, and within her first 3 months made $100k in 10 days by nailing the product and digital marketing. Mel shares her story of a rebrand project that started at a $15k budget that grew quarter of a million dollars - talk about a scope creep. And how this overinvestment in product and rebrand dried up funds to actually market and sell the product. 

More recently Mel has opened a beauty salon Melly’s Beauty Parlour and we talk about the challenges of balancing a bricks-and-mortar store, a 7-figure direct to consumer ecomm business and building a personal brand
