The Empowered Divorce Podcast; Navigating Divorce After Betrayal Trauma and Abuse

48. Are You Being Good To YOURSELF?; Healing after betrayal trauma and divorce

Listen Later

What does it mean to be good to yourself? Have you consciously thought about what that actually looks like for you? What does your brain tell you about that idea, to be good to yourself? Mine used to tell me that I don't deserve it.

Today I share a few ways that you can practice being good to yourself and why thats such an important part of healing, self care, and stepping more into a place of empowerment.

Here are some of the ways that you can be good to yourself:

* Being good to yourself is letting go of self judgement and cultivating compassion

*Being good to yourself is moving out of denial and into seeing things as they really are

*Being good to yourself is allowing space for emotions to be in your body

*Being good to yourself is acknowledging the courageous choice you have already made in your life!
