50. Women Supporting Women; Sarah's Story On Divorcing From Abuse

Listen Later

Come join me in creating a safe space for Sarah to share her story around how she got herself out of an abusive relationship and chose to practice empowerment, one small step at a time.

Divorcing when these dynamics are a part of your story requires a lot of support and planning. One huge part of Sarah's success was getting more awareness to the dynamics that she was experiencing and accepting the reality of those behaviors. It's scary to acknowledge this, but without it the possibility of being in future destructive relationships increase.

Knowledge is power and a very thorough and clear picture of all 8 areas in a relationship can be assessed with The Relationship Dynamic Assessment. It walks you through over 180 questions in the areas of, Physical, Emotional, Relational, Sexual, Financial, Psychological And Coercive behaviors that are not only associated with addiction, but Intimate Partner Violence. Many women avoid seeing the reality of these behaviors for many understandable reasons.

I want women to know that they can rise above these experiences and move from victim to thriver. Understanding the difference between health and unhealthy, and most importantly, believing that you are WORTH healthy.
