Our Pastor advocates researching the practices accepted into the church to determine their origin. Many pagan practices and unprofitable traditions have crept into worship over the centuries that are not of God. Dancing and speaking "gibberish tongues" are two common examples of Pentecostalism. These are acts of iniquity. It takes a diligent ministry to examine our practices and to guard an assembly against sliding into iniquitous habits, lest in the end, we find: "Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit." (Jeremiah 16:19).
