In our first look at book 3 of the Lunar Chronicles, we meet a Lunar shell named Cress who has been trapped on a satellite for the last seven years.  Forced to do Queen Levana's evil bidding, Cress has always longed for freedom, and for the chance to live on Earth, the Blue Planet.  Cress's life has been lonely isolation in her satellite and she yearns for companionship.  As she tries to find the missing cyborg Cinder and her handsome fugitive ally Captain Carswell Thorne, Cress also faces the wrath of her mistress and captor, Sybil Mira.
