During today's conversation on Scripture & Story, we are in the middle of our three-part mini-series on our identity in Christ. This series is called Who Am I: Conquering the Lies and Embracing the Truth. All of us struggle with identity at one time or another. We wrestle with who we are and what we are called to do. We need something stable - something unchanging - to place our identities in. That something is a Someone – Jesus Christ. In our time we are talking about nine lies we are tempted to believe about our identity and the corresponding truth we are invited to embrace. Our goal is to conquer the lies and embrace the truth. We want to expose our false notions of identity, understand biblical truths about our identity in Christ, and talk about what it looks like to live from this new identity.
