Listen Later

What's up friends? I am so excited to bring you today's episode for many reasons... one of which is that I get to share one of my best friends and an incredibly inspiring human with you, Janine Jericho, an international headliner who has maintained top feature showgirl status within the adult club industry for over the last decade. Continuing to win top titles and awards, over 80 in her career, with 30 being in the last 3 years alone, spanning both hemispheres and three countries. Some of her most recent accolades have included: BEST FEATURE SHOWGIRL from the Nightmoves Magazine Awards, Exotic Angels PERFORMER OF THE YEAR and MISS EXOTIC SHOWGIRL  in Australia along with the prestigious and top honors of World Ultimate Entertainer, Battle Of the Champions, Canada Grand Champion, Universe Performer Of the Year and 2x Miss Nude World Entertainer of the Year. This has made her a staple and one of the most sought after artists to date. Janine has performed in 9 countries worldwide, with multiple tours throughout Australia each year, and is personally invited to headline competitions and main events demonstrating that she is currently one of the most bankable and bookable headliners and the only international feature booked around the world.

She possesses specialty skills that include: aerial acrobatics, fireplay, circus arts, flow arts, veil fans, advanced pole-dancing coupled with her high energy dance style, elite costumes, and props. Most importantly, her ability to connect with an audience has added to her being billed as one of the top entertainers in the industry. Janine has had several publications internationally with her most current features in Pin Up Culture Magazine, Wild Vixens Magazine, graced the cover of Night Moves Magazine and last year was on the film sets of Supergirl, the 100, the Arrangement, and Riverdale. Janine Jericho has also been a special guest on a variety of radio talk shows throughout North America, which included the Tony Batman Radio Talk Show, where she was one of his highest-rated guests of all time. Janine is also one of the featured personalities in a documentary called, Naked justice, which is near completion that tells the story of what it takes to be an elite showgirl and an inside look into the industry.

Today's episode shares key insights on what it means to be an elite showgirl within a cut-throat, highly replaceable, and expendable entertainment industry.

1. You are more than just a (insert your title). You are capable of doing so many things, experiencing so many different emotions, don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Don't ever let anyone tell you who you can be. Show them what you're made of.

2. Women CAN support women in business. Keep it honest and transparent, have clear boundaries, and connect with who you vibe the most with! Business can be personal, but it's important not to let the personal affect your business.

3. You can always learn new skills, you cannot learn a new personality. It's more important to have heart, soul, and be authentic than knowing all the skills or having all the certifications to boast of.

4. Take care of your body, your mindset, and your emotions. You only have one body and one life, treat yourself well. Nourish your mind, body, and soul with good nutrition, movement, and healthy relationships and friendships.

5. Stop letting your circumstances, ageism, or anything else limit you. You are more than your limitations. Focus on what you CAN do versus what you cannot.

There you have it, friends! I hope you enjoyed listening to this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it! Connect with Janine on ig: @janinejericho
