Burnout is much more than you think, it’s not just feeling tired and dragging yourself out of bed to work each day because you have to. Burnout may also not just be a cause of being a workaholic and you relate it to your work life only, it could be a combination of factors from different aspects of your life.
Do you know what burnout does to your emotional, and mental health?
You are probably aware of some physical symptoms of burnout but we have to go deeper than that and see what it’s doing to our emotional and mental well-being.
In this episode, I talk about what burnout did to my physical, emotional, and mental health, how I recovered from it and learned to recognise the signs, and how this eventually led to me taking the leap of faith to leave the corporate world and my career as a lawyer and what I did to heal from the corporate world.

With pressure from nearly every angle to be successful in almost every way, it sometimes feels like being overwhelmed is the new norm. But it’s not, burnout is real and it can be dangerous when you don’t take any time out for yourself to address your needs.
