Memorial Day special.

In memory of my Navy veteran mother and father who both volunteered for the Korean War.

Thank you both for all of your love and sacrifice to your family and country.

Growing up I wanted to be a Marine as I grew up in a Navy family of 3 generations.

I sat for hours watching the "World at War" series with my father.

Later, I went to college and Officer Candidates School in Quantico, VA. Upon graduating OCS a Marine Corps Gunnery Sargent DI called me Marine. It was the proudest day in my life up to that time. Shortly after, may Navy vet father destroyed that dream forever. Though I hated him for it at the time. My father saved my life.

It's time for fathers everywhere to have the same "tough love" conversation everywhere.

We've got an entirely different enemy to fight. And we don't need physical weapons to win.
