In today’s Scripture reading we see how Jesus went through terrible suffering to show us His love, and that water and blood came out from the side of Jesus when He was pierced with a spear.
Pilate sought to release the Lord Jesus first, but after hearing the yelling of the crowd he delivered Him to them to be crucified.
