This episode was inspired by mother's who contacted me in an effort to provide support to their children who are divorcing. They recognize that the issues are complex and that though they meant well they weren't always saying what was helpful.

I so appreciate their grace and compassion in wanting to be there for their children who are going through such a difficult time. Anyone would be lucky to have a parent who cares that much. This episode is for those parents, but also for you you as you go through this life challenge and want and need support from your parents but they might not be saying the things you need to hear or maybe they are saying just a bit too much.
