📚 Welcome back to Zillennials Podcast Book Club. In October, Kaylee and Lian read Woman of Light by Kali Fajardo-Anstine. 📚

Woman of Light is an intergenerational novel following an indigenous chicano family from the American West. This story is character driven and changes perspectives, but and Kaylee and Lian loved it! The Zillennials hosts discuss their favorite characters (hey there Luz and Maria Josie) and least favorite characters (looking at you David) and highlight a few of the social issues from the book. This book is a fantastic read consisting of beautiful writing that makes you want to read more of Fajardo-Anstine's work.
