97. Pregnancy Diaries: First Trimester with Emma & Hannah

Listen Later

First trimester pregnancy diaries is here!! Woohoooo!! In this week's episode we're sharing snippets from the past few months of Emma chatting about her first trimester with baby number 2. AND also a sneaky gender reveal! Tune in to find out if Em's cooking an eggplant or a peach.

Spoiler alert, the first trimester was a bit of a rough time with lots of sickness and being incredibly tired while still having to chase after a toddler, work full time, podcast, clean, cook, shop, keep up a social life, do all the farm things, and what was that called again? Self care?? Oh wait, no time for that.

Emma also tells us about her journey finding a local private midwife and organising a homebirth, and what led her to make this decision.

Mum Life Moments:

Emma wants to take Blake to an ultrasound of the baby but Blake is convinced the Doctor will have to saw her in half to see the baby. Very clever, but very terrifying, has Em just traumatised her even more?

Hannah's flat out over it. The sickness, the lack of sleep, the neverending to do list and mental load of motherhood, the unsolicited advice from absolute randoms. She's making a big change to try to sort out Hazel's sleep and Emma's very proud, tune in to find out.
